The competition will take place from October 25-27, 2024, at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas. This event signed a five-year contract, acting as the second phase of the annual Charles Schwab Cup playoffs for the PGA Tour Champions. The tournament features the top 54 golfers, all vying for a position in the top 36 to qualify for the season-ending event.

The Simmons Bank Championship marks a historic moment as it introduces the inaugural PGA Tour Champions tournament in Arkansas. This will be the first PGA Tour-sanctioned event in the state since the Korn Ferry Tour's Fort Smith Classic, which took place in 2010 and has not been held since.
