The Father/Son Challenge is an annual golf competition for two-player teams made up of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfers and (typically) their kids. The event was renamed the PNC Championship in 2020 as a result of a sponsorship agreement with PNC Financial Services. In honor of the father-and-son British Open champions, Willie Park Sr. and Willie Park Jr., it is contested over two days (36 holes) for the Willie Park Trophy. Twenty teams compete in a scramble-type field. The 2012 tournament's prize pool was $1 million, and IMG and NBC Sports shared ownership.
