The European Tour 2021 schedule has been announced, which will include at least 42 events in 24 countries, as the global golf tour restarts a full international program.
The schedule begins in January and ends in November. The schedule consists of 18 more events, which were canceled or postponed in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The superb Rolex series is the headline for the 2021 season. The Rolex series now has four top-level events on the European Tour, which are distributed at key points in the global golf calendar. Each event has been increased by the prize money, increasing the points to go to Dubai and enriched media, content, and broadcasting coverage.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will commence from 21-24 January, the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open start from 8-11 July, and the BMW PGA Championship will kick-off from 9-12 September. Every tournament prize money is 8 million USD an increase of $ 1 million. They will also receive 8,000 Dubai tournament points, the same as the points of the four World Golf Championships.
