The PGA of America declared today one of the major LPGA Tour event KPMG Women’s PGA Championship 2020; it will take place at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania from October 8th to 11th, without spectators. The PGA of America will continue to observe the development of COVID-19 and cooperate with leading state and community health agencies and centers for disease control and prevention through championship week.

Aronimink established in 1896 and has organized many important golf competitions in its legendary history, including the 1962 PGA Championship won by the Gary Player. In 2026 Aronimink will back on the PGA Championship.

With the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Aronimink will be the first venue to host three major U.S. PGA rounds (PGA Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship).

In the past 3-4 years, the hundred top golfers on the LPGA official money list will play in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, which once again one of the biggest prize money in women’s golf.
